Legendary graff artist, Cope2, opened his first solo exhibit at Basel in Wynwood this past week. The works are all mixed media on canvas. The pieces are displays of his classic lettering and way with colors as well as collages showing his rise as an artist. I was pleased to finally meet the man who’s work, especially his throw-ups, is very familiar to all graff artists around the world.

For those of you that know me, I’ve been digging on Lana Del Rey for quite some time now. There really isn’t much, if anything, to dislike. Her voice is refreshing and sultry, her content is all very original and far from what you will hear on the radio today. She’s also as beautiful as her voice. Overall, probably the dopest female artist out at the moment (sorry Adele fans).
For those of you that are fans, you will be happy to know that a release date has been announced via her Twitter page. The album is slated to drop January 30th. I haven’t bought an album in a very long time so it’s going to be nice to go purchase something new.
As if that news wasn’t good enough, Lana also dropped a new single today. Also via her Twitter page. This has been a great listen. As soon as it starts it’s reminiscent of a Dilla production. Fans of the late producer will obviously know why.
